Carter Robinson

  • Carter Robinson currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of American Energy Management. Prior to joining AEM in April 2021, Mr. Robinson served as General Manager of Well-Testing for Oil States Energy Services, LLC from February 2018 to April 2021. Oil States Energy Services, LLC acquired Falcon Flowback Services, LLC & Erick Flowback Services, LLC in April 2016 where Mr. Robinson served as President & Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Erick Flowback Services, LLC, Mr. Robinson served as Vice President of Operations of MidCentral Energy Partners, LP and President of MidCentral Energy Services, LLC from April 2011-December 2015. Robinson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Energy Management degrees from Oklahoma City University.

Joanna Surgenor

  • Joanna Surgenor currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources of American Energy Management. Prior to joining AEM in September 2022, Mrs. Surgenor was part of the Human Resources team with PDC Energy. Mrs. Surgenor held various positions during her time at PDC from January 2019 to September 2022. In her last role, she designed, implemented and managed their professional development/educational program as well as oversaw their internal communications. Prior to joining PDC Energy, Mrs. Surgenor was with Pioneer Natural Resources from November 2016 to December 2018 where she worked in Employee Relations supporting their Permian Offices and Senior Field Leadership. Prior to joining Pioneer Natural Resources, Mrs. Surgenor started her Human Resources career with Patterson UTI Drilling in 2013. Before her career in Human Resources, Mrs. Surgenor held various progressive roles in social work and the criminal defense field. Mrs. Surgenor received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.

Kent Easter

  • J. Kent Easter currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of American Energy Management (AEM) and President of American Well Services and Nichols Oil Tools. Mr. Easter began his oilfield career in 2014 with an entry level position with Nichols Oil Tools, a completion service provider located in Jacksboro, TX. Mr. Easter worked various roles within Nichols and was eventually promoted to VP of Operations. In 2018 Nichols Oil Tools was acquired by Argonaut Private Equity where Mr. Easter was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. In March 2021, Mr. Easter helped lead the efforts in the acquisition of Pioneer Well Services, now known as American Well Services, in March 2021. In June 2021, Mr. Easter was named President of Nichols Oil Tools and American Well Services, along with serving as COO of American Energy Management. Easter received his Bachelor Degree in Animal Science from Tarleton State University.

Travis Sibley

  • Travis Sibley is the Vice President of Finance at American Energy Management, where he oversees cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting, banking relationships, and systems integrations. He is also responsible for all internal and external financial reporting across all AEM businesses.

    Travis has played a pivotal role in significant business transactions, including the sale of Nichols Oil Tools to Argonaut Private Equity in October 2018, as well as several acquisitions, such as Pioneer Well Services in 2021 and Warhorse Services in 2022. He specializes in forecasting and cash flow management while maintaining strong commitments to stakeholders.

    Motivated by a passion for streamlining processes and empowering creativity within his team, Travis focuses on analyzing results from a high-level perspective while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. He aims to create a workplace where people feel valued, inspired, and excited to be part of a team. His professional mission is to leave a lasting impact by showing care for others and embodying his faith through his actions every day.

    Prior to his current role, Travis worked in the missile defense industry at Lockheed Martin, where he managed budgeting and forecasting for over $1 billion in missile contracts with Japan and contributed to $500 million in creative development projects.

    Outside of work, Travis treasures time with his wife, Allison, and their son, Pierce, who are his pride and joy. He enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending quality time with family. Travis strives to balance his professional ambitions with a fulfilling personal life, always seeking opportunities to grow and make a difference
